Making a Podcast for Digital Storytelling has been quite the experience for me. This Podcast that I am creating for this class is the very first one I am producing. I have been listening to podcasts, on the daily, to get different ideas to make a proficient podcast.
I have always hated hearing my voice over a speaker so that was an obstacle itself for me to overcome. When I did the recording itself I thought it would be awkward to start out with and it was. Once I finally started talking and asking questions about the topic in my podcast it seemed like it went very smooth. I listen to the "professional" podcasters like
Pat McAfee and he makes it seem so easy. He seems so comfortable when interviewing other people especially. I found out when you talk about something that you like and that you have a lot of knowledge about the topic itself.
After recording this podcast, I have learned that I would love to make these types of podcasts. These people who are professionals, have a very lucky job that they can do. It would be neat to start a channel and upload podcasts on topics of interest that occurs in our daily lives. Even the people who I interviewed said that they all loved doing this podcast. It really changed all of our views about podcasts and the way they are produced.
